PWJ Posted January 28 Posted January 28 ROUND 4 - Saturday February 3 We start the day with 4 races from The Naki including a couple of black type contests before we trip across to the Parramatta swamp for two Group 3 races with small but tricky fields then back to NP for the last which looks fairly open. Then we head for Melbourne for a form-packed mares event and end the day back at Rosehill with a couple of restricted sprints with a ton of form. The last looks a doozy ! The big clash of the day sees once again the top two in the table do battle as Magic look to continue their great form against a Styx side that have to bounce back after their shock defeat in Round 3. Heather and Gordy - two of the top 3 competitors in the comp thus far - meet head on in what should be a cracker while Smiler looks to wipe the grin off that Cheshire Cat... Max Factory will need overtime and double-pay most likely if they look to disrupt the Showtime star act while The Seagulls will be looking to dive-bomb the Old Mate boys having fish and chips on the beach at Port Taranaki in what looks like an even affair despite the 5 points separating them on the table. They will all be cheering for one Pete or another in this one 😆 Lastly after 3 Rounds, Kaos and The Reapers have just 6 points between them - who would have predicted that at the start of the comp ?? Well okay, Kaos have all those 6 points ! The failure of the Reapers to glean even a single, solitary point so far is the elephant in the current Super Comp room - what the hell has happened there ? Will Kaos be in chaos as The Reapers look to bounce back with a vengeance or will Ray and crew deny the Reapers any reward ? Could be a train-wreck either way ! Just Maria, Heather, Black Caviar and Robert remain undefeated after a mere 3 rounds while only Barb, Graeme and Hesi are winless after three and hoping to change that this week. Remember you must have at least 6 different picks (of 20) for those who post after their opponent Please post on time. Let's have some fun and note the closing time... Maria is Setting up the 'Show' at the PJ Circus looking for more entertaining SHOW-TIME under the Big Top to repeat the Magic dose . RingMaster Maria says as is the tradition " Send In The Clowns " 😂🤡 Max and his factory workers fitting that billing nicely. Just went back through my picking comp diaries, and the first time I came up against Heather was 14.4.18 where she prevailed $146.00 to $123.00. Since then we have met another 5 times, the last being 23.10.21, and we are currently 3-3. No disrespect to the rest of Heathers teammates, but she is the one I really didn’t want to try and beat this Saturday. It will basically come down to my luck, or Heathers knowledge and skill. Quote
