PWJ Posted June 28, 2019 Author Share Posted June 28, 2019 Each week there is a critical race (or maybe two) in the comp which tends to play a large role in settling personal contests and as a result, team matches. My guess this week is comp race 7 - the Civic Stakes at Rosehill, which features 6 chances between $4.40 and $9.00 at the moment. The 3 selectors to post so far have selected 6 different runners with all but one from this group of the most favoured half a dozen. It was a great flat run last week following a solid enough hurdles run at wellington. The hurdle was just his 2nd run back so we knew he'd improve. Last weeks run should have him cherry ripe for his biggest test yet and my biggest race as an owner. heres hoping but its a strong field.
