Maximus
Gosh, captain pete of the Wurzels is awfully quiet....mouthful of humble pie, p'raps? (after giving poor Max and his fine Factors the name-calling routine during the week ..."powder puffs" if you don't mind! and getting mugged in the last). So cap'n Max will wait no longer for words of gracious defeat from the fallen, and will proceed regardless with the post-races wrap. To wit: Thanks for the match yesterday, Wurzels. Twas great fun and a close encounter of the worst kind until the TA wuffie Pin Me Up did the honourable thing to keep poor Jamie's strike rate up after On The Bubbles fizzed out when it mattered. Great work by Trotslover and Punter Pete bouncing back with H2H wins after dipping out last week ...team game, see ...and there's no "i" in "team" (or in "Max Factor", for that matter). The Moet was flowin' like a river last night at the Max Factory. 2 more pts is better than no points at all at all at all, esp after 2 weeks, wot? MM PS: Congrats, Lightning Blue on finding the right Room Number at Randwick. $94 is great money for a horse with winning recent form. It was my last 'cell' number so 94 was quite appealling lol. Max and his 4 'Factors' are sailing along beautifully. As per The AyBees Captain courageous Craig , I see Max also snared a beauty in the last at Ellerslie. Congrats ! but You can 'PIN that UP' as your last win for a couple of weeks possibly? You have to deal with the AYBEES next week. (hard to Factor a win against quality like that? ) Your strategy to date is out-standing !!! bringing in the harness men ROBERT and TROTSLOVER to your squad. brilliant toughness !!! Craigos has equalled that with recruiting LB and HAREWOOD from the trotting Gait , to sit very well on the table. So an even tough match beckons next week AyBees v MaxFactors, (could be the Captain Head to Head to decide ??) Go Craigos !! I'll tote out a great Australian Max Moniker to make Maximus MM nervous with a tougher MM !! lol.....
