PWJ
POINTS AFTER ROUND 6 Punter Pete's win today gets him off the foot of the table but at the top Jamison has doubled his 4 point lead to 8 points. Graeme moves up 3 places to 2nd spot pushing Moose down a peg. Jen, who improved her score dramatically in the last today with a BB on the winner holds a threatening 4th spot while MC moved up 3 places to 5th. Ian and Ngakonui G each lost 3 places while Robert improved 3 places to 7th and Ziggy climbed 4 spots to 8th. Pete (down 3) completes the top 10 ahead of Secret Squirrel up 3. It's difficult to know exactly who has a winning chance as competitor numbers (which determine the points award) vary from 34 (today) to 39 or 40. Given how competitive it is at the top you probably need to be on at least 160 to have a chance of winning the Christmas - New Year comp. So it's all on for young and old tomorrow 193 Jamison 185 Graeme 180 Moose 176 Jen 175 Midnight Caller 172 Ian 170 Robert 169 Ziggy 166 Ngakonui Grass 163 Pete 157 Secret Squirrel 148 Maria 143 Tassie Tiger 143 Gordy 141 Smiler 140 Steve P 138 Gary 130 Stevie N 128 Lightning Blue 123 Maurice 121 Hesi 120 Rob 117 Ray 115 Our Maizcay 109 Geoff 106 Roland 104 Howie 103 PJ 99 Tom 95 Jason 94 Wandering 87 Jack 79 Zac 78 Punter Pete 78 Sarah 63 Rex 58 Max 55 Gee 40 Rees

PWJ
Be interesting to see what strategies competitors adopt tomorrow. Those who can't win the comp may opt to win the day by picking the favoured runners but the top 10 or 11 may go wide, in some cases very wide, to head off he ginger moggy
