After continual issues with people being unable to post on the selection thread, which I am assured is not a site issue, there will be a change of policy from next week onward.

The thread will be left open at all times so you can look or copy whatever you want. I am fed up with the whole thing and am an inch away from quitting the site.

The Rules will change to the effect that if you post after your opponent and you don't have at least 6 different individual selections then your entry will be disqualified and you will not earn any $$ towards your team total.

I will not be reminding anyone as I simply don't have time. Captains may police if they want.

Myself and others (Pete, Hesi) put enough work into this site and the comps without it being a greater drain.

You and your team do a great job PJ Was just talking to my wife today about how the heck you manage to collate everything and get results ansdthe next race up so quickly. I have had no problems getting my selections up including three times in the last month while we were in Aus. Some people just take things for granted. Sorry if you are getting disinchanted as 99% follow the rules and we all appreciate what a mamoth task you do each week. Thankyou very much.

May I suggest that if there is no post then the team plays without them regardless, with no correspondence to be entered after the fact.  Makes your life easier, and gives a wakeup call to those wayward posters, who for whatever reason may cop a serve from their Captain(in a nice way).

Any way what would you do with your weekend without this comp Peter. (Tongue in cheek mate )

Just to clarify this, and I have checked all the entries this morning, no one is having trouble posting other than Plovdiv/Dino/Zac/ Wrinkles, who I understand are all in the same family group

Plovdiv, quite correctly raised this with us via a PM, Pete could find no apparent reason, I looked also after Pete said there were no problems, and discovered that there is an issue posting if you have the site in the wrong format(see seperate post).

This was communicated back to Plovdiv, who has not read the PM, even though asked to confirm if this corrected the problem

I presume because Plovdiv has not read the reply, they have been unable to communicate things back to other family members, as above, so the frustration has boiled over

Moral of the story, read your PM's please

all late scratchings in the next

Always leaves a bit of a sour taste in the mouth when you take a horse (let's say, Cheval D'or), make it your best bet, it come in from 3rd favourite to outright favourite, so when there's a sleuth of late scratchings  every man and his dog ends up by default on the horse you had  actually put the effort in to select.
Absolutely detest wet weather racing.
