Despite not having led at any stage bottom dwellers Max Factory pulled off the upset of the comp downing leaders Kelly's Heroes in the last as Rob bagged a BB to wreck Wrinkles and Harewood did likewise to hop past Heather ! The Factory crew also took a bonus point for the 4-1 margin as Kelly's Heroes all missed in the last. A valiant Gary was Man of the Match for the losers while Rob was MVP for the victors. The Dream Team - for whom Stevie N was MVP - completed a clean sweep of misses in the last 4 Aussie races and trailed home a distant 3rd...

After a shock last-race defeat for the table leaders and a flawless performance from The Reapers we find Kelly's Heroes deposed by the guys with the sickles who take a one point lead with two rounds to go (take note Max!). The Desperados win takes them above the Dream Team (who suffered a scoreless Bye Round) and keeps their title hopes alive. Defeats for The Coyotes and Union Jacks ended their title hopes while a Triple Joker win for The Believers took them above the Ramones and the Wooden Spoon dogfight. A shock last-race victory for Max Factory takes them level on points with The Ramones.
