Graeme also bagged a BB in the last while Gary was the sole scorer for The Rustlers who put up a great fight in their final match, with Maurice their MVP. Under The Radar's loss (Fifty Stars would have seen them win 4-1 !!) mean't they slipped back to 2nd in the final table with Five-O's impressive victory taking them from 5th to 3rd. Dynamite's win saw them hold 4th fortunately as defeat would have seen La Bodega pip them for a Finals berth on aggregate. Fartoofast left it too late with the day's biggest points haul taking them to within 3 points of a qual spot. Today we say goodbye and a huge thank you to the 20 wonderful people who make up the Wild Bunch, Rustlers, Fartoofast and La Bodega sides. TooFast
We 'Too Fast' contingent salute PJ the racing comp maestro, another brilliant comp giving so much excitement and pleasure to so many. The drama of team match-up results turned on their head late in the piece a perfect demonstration of why PJ Super Comps are so good. We salute also Maxi and the 'Animal Kingdom', Pete and the 'Under The `Radars', John and the 'Five - 0' s, and Ian and 'The Dynamites' - you've all played superbly and fully deserve your places in the play-offs. The very best of luck to you all as you strive to advance even further. Special acknowledgement of the 'Animal Kingdom' - the Minor Premiers. Great result 'AK's, and very well done. Maxi, you're clearly doing plenty right. I thank my 'Far Too Fast' "teamies" Jack, Stevie P, Robert, and the young fella Geoff - as good a team as I've played in over many, many years of PJ Super Comps. Top guys all of them, sharing lots of messages`behind the scenes, sharing tips, and coming up with many, many winners. We thought we'd need a 5-0 result with Team Profit today in order to make the play-offs. As it transpired we got a 4-1 result and a Team Profit - (8 comp points from the Joker play) ....great stuff guys in a pressure match .... when it turned out that even the 10 points wouldn't have been enough to get us through. But we went close, and we can be happy that we've been part of a wonderfully fun comp, and we won our last 5 matches on the bounce - bang, bang, bang, bang, bang ! Dynamite ! 😀. Makes you wonder what we were doing in the first round ! 😕 To all teams departing today just as we are, La Bodega, The Rustlers, The Wild` Bunch, you've all been brilliant. You can hold your heads high ! Thank you so much PJ. You're an absolute legend. Much appreciated. Your comps are the very best. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, folks. 9

Maximus
Morning all. The sun has arisen in the Kingdom of the Animals, where all is well after a big night that followed another huge Day of Drama in PJs Super Duper Spring Comp. Mustelid Media crosses 'live' now to the Scene of the Party ( where the cleaners are fighting their way through Moet Mountain) for a belated Press Conference. Cue music (The Tokens, The Lion Sleeps Tonight😞 A win-Moet A win-Moet A win-Moet A win-Moet ... A win-Moet A win-Moet A win-Moet A win-Moet .. Captain Max: "Right, quiet, please. Foxy One, turn that flocking music off, my head hurts. Thank you. And big thanks to our opponents The Wild Bunch, you guys played outta your skins to take the lead off the Animules in the second half and Maurice, TC and Gazza had us worried big time going into the last. Commiserations. Animals, you rock ...that was a remarkable comeback yesterday, Rob, Mooseman, Graeme, Heather great stuff ....Heather, get off the table, it's a bit norty of you rocking on while captain Max is speaking) ...where was I? Who'd have thought we'd finish like Phar Lap in the last? A tad embarrassing, actually, to snatch 4 Comp points like that and snaffle the Minor Premiership trophy off UTR at the death, but no, PJ, you can't have it back until next year at least. .. and we know full well that no-one remembers who wins Minor Premierships! Heather can have it for being the winningest Animal of all over the 14 Rounds. Our thanks to all 20 players in the 4 teams who didn't make the cut - we Animals have enjoyed immensely all our encounters with you - and the good-natured ribbing between bouts - esp tough on Howie and Rees's teams. Look after yourselves, and back plenty of winners ... all the very best until we meet again at another SuperDuper Comp. PJ, thanks again for all your work keeping us posted. Lord knows how you do it in such quick time ...( I'd have posted a few updates myself yesterday but got waylaid at Pukekohe, then had to drive home.) Time to go. The cleaners are here and they've got their eyes on that last bottle of Moet .... MM D: Edited November 2, 2019 by Maximus 1

This should, of course, have said THE RUSTLERS. captain Max admits to being DEEPLY EMBARRASSED and more than a little sheep-ish. Proof that a MOET hangover can kick like a MULE.
