Formline for St Covet's Spirit in R4 Randwick (Funstar, Probabeel the faves in a small field)

21Sep S RAND 8 of 9 1400m (4)TEA ROSE $220000 5th otr,up 4w 500,btld,no dash 5.5L $151.00 A Hyeronimus 56 Funstar 1:23.04

Commentary for said form:

Average effort in weaker company here at latest. Up in class. Unlikely.

So, St Covet's Spirit beat 1 home on 21 Sept in the race won by Funstar narrowly from Probabeel. Somehow it raced "in weaker company" that day and is "up in class" at Randwick on Saturday when it meets the first two placegetters from its race o the 21st ...!!  This shite is almost as bad as Trump's press conference with the Finnish Prez...

I hope Howie is reading this flocking rubbish, too, cos it's doing my head in and it's only Thursday!!!!! Arrrggghhhhh....

Ok  La Bodega , difficult day coming up with the top team facing us but we are on a roll and chasing hard. Hoping ""everyone turns up"  this time so be on guard Ziggy, am disappointed the random selector didn't give me a chance to even it up . Go well team on what could be a tricky day.

Chase these Ian and all the best.

Morning all. This is captain Maxi calling all Animals of the Kingdom to duty on this day of magnificent Spring racing. For better or for worser, I have made it easier for the beleaguered Howie by leaving out all three HB hotpots. Regrettably, the Mustelid is not on track at Hastings to drink Say No More's Moet .. but hope to pop a cork tonight when the Fartoos have been silenced. Fingers crossed

Ok Animules, let's do it to them before they put the pedal to the metal.

'Far Too Fast' now starting to score points in each match, so working into the match nicely now from the 800m mark - will be right there at the business end. 10 points from an inspired Joker play within the next few rounds will propel us into the Top 4, and right into the playoffs.

'Animal Kingdom' are a reasonably useful outfit from time-to-time - they're not completely out of this today, so us 'Far Too Fast's will need to proceed with a degree of caution. My own opponent Captain Maxi is due a good one, and there is no doubt I'll have a real task ahead to withstand the Maxi challenge.

I'm seeing these as being the ones today :-

  • R1)     6x8                                      Swords Dream x Malik
  • R2)     1x6                                      Catalyst x Checkers
  • R3)     2x7                                      Aim Smart x Ignored
  • R4)     9x10                                    Vernanme x Melody Belle
  • R5)     1x2                                       Funstar x Probabeel
  • R6)     7x11     Best Bet NZ          Sir Nate x Starrybeel
  • R7)     1x7                                       Santa Ana Lane x Sunlight
  • R8)     5x15                                     Gem Song x Cascadian
  • R9)      4x6      Best Bet Aus        Mystic Journey x Finche
  • R10) 14x15                                    Attention Run x Scarlet Dream

The best of luck today to my "teamies" Geoff, Robert, Stevie P & Jack. I've got a good 'vibe' about today. We'll win this, and win well.

I hope you get amongst them today too, Maxi.

Thanks, PJ.
