You're right Hesi - team Daylight will try to avoid the minor premiership - who would risk the poison chalice for two chances to make the grand final?

I see you've got your Joker play against the pre post favourites for this comp - they must be due?!

We decided from the outset that we would save our Joker for Round 7 - not looking like such a smart move now with Pumped in great form and having knocked back a few jokers.

Thanks for the match today Howie and team Too Fast - always enjoy playing you guys, and another high scoring match - a well deserved two bonus points for you guys!  Rex - what more can be said - staggering!!

Nice work team Daylight - keeping the scoreboard ticking over.  Can't wait for Supreme Heights' next start now - she has been good to us.  TC - little bit of deja vu - about time, and no pressure :)

Superiors are out of form

Making the grand final from such a position, means you are set up to be knocked off by one of the charging teams.  Maybe that will be the Reapers, we certainly have the firepower.

Rex has done his dash now, thank God.

Mardy and Hesi ...... you guys are too funny ...... has nothing to do with the Morphy ...... I do a bit of swat, a bit of  watching replays and make a list during the week of those to follow and then look at the prices they are paying then throw most out the window and pick what i like !!!

Definitely not science based ..... horseracing is a fickle sport ..... just like taking  trainer , jockey and track combo's and now and then it can workout.

I just find its fun to see if there is that special horse at a good price with solid form and think why not take it.

Now I have confused u all back to the nurse and my next dose of MORPHINE 🙃

A memorable day, mostly for the r-r-rong reasons. CONGRATS Reapers, you did the perfect job on we Maxis today, 5-0 puts you back in the hunt. Well done indeed, most of you found  a 'value' winner at the Naki, on a day when we struggled all afternoon.

The individual highlight, of course, was (mercifully) in another match.
Arise, Sir G ..a knight and a Legend in these Comps. For a while I thought you might have had Roland for company, when Ladies First started looking likely halfway down the Naki boggy straight ... if she'd run 2nd instead of 3rd, Rob would be feeling a whole lot more pain!

I thought Russian Camelot 'arrived' as the real deal today. It'll take a very good horse to get past him in the 'big ones' ..and a couple of others have gone into Maxi's black book marked 'Flemington Cup Week'.

Thanks for another great day, PJ. Congrats to all today's winners. And special commiserations to Pam!

Heads up Maxis ..there's a long way to go in this marathon.

Superiors are probably the worst named team in the history of comps.

But we're saving ourselves for the Reapers. Expect a backlash.

Superiors can draw level with Mascarpone, Sheezallmine, Maria Dior or New York Jazz (must pay $8.40+ or Melt complete the Q) and can pull one back with Melt

Reapers go further ahead with Hypnos, London Bound or Fibonacci

well done by Old Nick there (and you, Midnight C, curses curses) in Hast r4 ..9yo, fresh up, carrying 61kg and gave them a head start. I thought he'd need that run, esp 'at his age' but as the famous saying goes, "he doesn't know he's nine"
