Morning all, from Bedrock, where the weather is freezing and the track rather slippery. You, see, for the 9th Round of Christmas, the ever-generous Mustelid allowed Mrs W the privilege of doing the selections - which she did with a knitting needle, just to "teach me a lesson" as she said at the time. Well,as you know, this backfired rather badly, with a big fat $0.00 return at Ellerslie. Instead of just letting her feel the pain, your favourite Mustelid rather foolishly opened his trap once too often, and some cutting remark from Moi produced the following response from my petulant sweetheart: "Well if that's what you really think when I was just trying to help, Sweetheart, you'd best stay out of my way, or this knitting needle will end up where the sun doesn't shine.". God I love her when she's angry!

So, the season of goodwill appears to have gone AWOL today and it's a rather frosty and cold hole here at 1 Rocky Road. What can a poor Mustelid do but count his blessings (mebbe this is what a White Christmas feels like!), focus on the job in hand - and hope like hell that my beloved sees sense eventually. After all, I don't really think she's as useless as tits on a bull ! (It's just a saying, darling!) 

And the job in hand is ...Wingatui. What a shame it's so far away. It cant be any colder down there than it is here today.
