Remember though NZ's mauling of Aus in THAT game in the T20WC was the reason they exited early.  NZ wilted pretty quick after that, but that one game was worth it

Yeah Aus probably giving someone else a go after mauling NZ in the T20WC FINAL a year ago.  here's the result in case you forgot. Must say that Kane Williamson did great innings though.

Enjoy that rum LB...twouldnt be a Bundie by any chance would it?

Max is off to the shops tomorrer in quest of the real bubbles and will drink a thimbleful in honour of the Sandpapergate Scoundrel..no doubt the rest of it will be swiftly swiped from my grasp by the delectable Mrs W, she of the come-hither looks and swaying derriere ...Max puts up manly resistance of course, but not for too long.

Enjoy your few days in the sun LB.  Minnows don't win World Cups, football, cricket or rugby

Yes a couple of 'Qualifying Heats' wins at the Football World Cup still a big deal though. and qualifying for the round of 16 will inspire a new generation of kids in Aus (and Nz hopefully) to join in and play football at a young age . Instead of those blasted stupid video games.

Nz very very close in the last 2 Cricket world Cups with narrow defeats to Australia and England. I'll be rooting for them next year in India to get a deserved WIn.

Rugby Union World Cup see's South Africa (the current title holders) with 3 titles , New Zealand with 3 , Oz with 2,  Eng with 1. ALways a tough contest and great to watch !!!!!!!

Rugby League World Cup  a bit of a joke as you say as too many minnows. Nz did snatch a title in 2008 to stop the 'rot' lol..... (which was fantastic for Nz League)

Glad you love your Sport and Racing Hesi , Maxi, Pete . Is indeed a lot of fun !! and good to see some Winners lately . I'm a racer way back taking out the Nz Cup with a minnow,

and with the even bigger Harness racing Interdominion on currently in Victoria, we have BOLT FOR BRILLIANCE to cheer for Nz and the great AGHerlihy , and hopefully will take the title over Aussie's. Will you be cheering him on ? and the Socceroos ? hope so mate .

How exciting were this morning's games !

Germany & Belgium out ! Morocco & Japan topping their Groups - amazing stuff !

The two European sides will need a total reset from here on.

Spain probably better off as runner-ups as now they avoid Croatia (for the time being).

Yup.Put a wee bet on USA which means a good profit either way😁 $4.33 too good to resist

yes $4.33 looks a reasonable bet to me, but that's not a perfect hedge

$4.33 is price for USA to win in normal time

chance that it could be a draw after 90 mins and US win in extra time or penalties and both of your bets are out of the money

the $2.65 for US to progress is the perfect hedge

I enjoyed the Argentina v Aussie game. Argentina deserved to win but for a great save from the Argentina goalie, it may have gone to extra time. If Messie has an average game someone needs to step up for them because he was magnificent today.

France look lethal up front, with mbappe's sublime finishing, and assists, against a not to bad Polish team. I can see them in the Final, although they are a bit flakey at the back. England ???, Senegal posed some risk as they have the skill set but defensive pattern let them down a bit. Can't wait to see Japan play again, and after watching Brasil's games they have a pretty decent defensive lineup now, so not always relying on their twinkle toe strikers to get them out of the shit.
