Rules and Format for NZ CUP DAY & SHOW DAY.

All races on raceday will need THREE(that is 3) picks per Race.

SCORING:

Each of your three horses will have imaginary $1 ew bets.

THERE WILL BE A BOXED QUINELLA & TRIFECTA with your 3 horses all at $1.  You can select one race as a best bet where all points gained are doubled

The two totals from both days added together to decide the winner.

All SELECTIONS must be IN 1 HOUR before FIRST RACE (Allows scorers time to record & set up) THANKS.

SCRATCHINGS : All scratching REPLACEMENTS MUST BE IN A SEPARATE POST & before deadline cutoff.

Any late scratchings will divert to Fav, 2ND Fav etc dependent on individual picks.

 

NORMAL DEADHEAT RULES APPLY.

Only 1 horse paying less than $2.  That would have to be an all-time record for this meeting

Think by racetime  Millwood Nike,Dont stop Dreaming and maybe Akuta will all  be paying under $2.

Mark sort of semi retired now mate. Handing the running over to Nathan bit by bit.  only one Cup runner for Allstars . that's a surprise. He'll still win the BIG Dance with a horse he part owns too. Akuta going like Imperatriz at the moment.  Thoroughly deserved for Mark (as an owner) for years of showing everyone else how it's done as a trainer/ driver. his old partner ( My Queensland mate there on my moniker 🥰)  Natalie a non -starter . so no wonder the odds have blown out. 🥲

Like many other great champs Lord Module powered to Victory in the NZ FreeForAll as well, seen here beating Trevira in that,  3 days after his NZ Cup win.

Not as lucky was Lightning Blue after winning his NZ Cup  , being nailed by Roy Purdons 'Luxury Liner' with Tony Herlihy right on the line in the FFA on Showday.
