LUCKY SEVEN - GRAND FINAL - Sat Jan 6

Just a reminder. If you did not make the Grand Final field there is a consolation Grand Final for non-qualifiers so post as usual. Jammo won it last year and he has been unbearable since...

Qualifiers: Ray, Rex, Robert, Black Caviar, Lightning Blue, Ngakonui Grass, Gee, Ziggy, Maria, Anita, Rees, Maurice, Ian, Our Maizcay, Tassie Tiger

Close off at 1.20 p.m. (NZ time)

Races are:

1. Kumara R3 - 1.50pm - Phoenix Minerals - $25k, 1150m, R80 hdcp

2. Kumara R4 - 2.23pm - McMullan ITM Greymouth Star - $18k, 1150m, R65 BM

3. Kumara R6 - 3.35pm - Hynds Pipe Systems/Birchfield Ross Mining - $18k, 1810m, R65 BM

4. Kumara R7 - 4.10pm - Vernon & Vazey Truck Parts Kumara Gold Nuggets - $40k, 1810m, open hdcp

5. Geelong R7 - 5.40pm - Brandt Colac Hdcp - $100k, 1400m, BM84 hdcp

6. Geelong R8 - 6.20pm - bet365 Coastal Classic - $300k, 1700m, hdcp

7. Geelong R9 - 7.00pm - Geelong Black Pearl Stks (LR) - $200k, 1200m, fillies/mares SW+p

Three (3) selections per race. $10 each way bet on each while $1 box quinellas and $1 box trifetcas will feature combining all 3 selections. The person with the most winnings at the end of 7 races is the Round Winner. On the last day of the comp, the Round Winners will compete against each other in a big showdown Grand Final. If someone wins more than one round then the runner-up will qualify and so on. There will be a Presidents Final on the last day for those who fail to qualify. (see Round 1 post for full rules)

Hardy Tasmanian Stayers who stay on like an unwanted mother-in-law :      Tassie Tiger  +  Lightning Blue   5-1

Trotting horse Gentlemen who can Trot , Gallop and set a very Fast Pace :  Rees , Robert + Lightning Blue   5-1 

NPC Comp Chiefs Presidents Cup winners :  Gee ,  Robert  +  Lightning Blue   5-1

Great on Their feet Dancefloor stars:  Maria (putting on a dancing show), Ziggy (Zigging and zagging on the dance floor + Lightning 'feet' Travolta Blue  5- 1

The Lovely ladies :  Maria  ,  Anita  +   Lightning Blue's Mrs     5-1

Currently in TOP 10 Christmas -New year Cup : Our Maizcay  Ngakonui Grass, Tassie Tiger + Lightning Blue

Ran in Top 5 at the completion of the last Super 7 Grand Final  :  Ian (2nd) , Gee (5th) +  Lightning Blue (4th)    =  all  firming in with that great form =  4-1 

NPC Comp 'Ferdies' Qualifiers:  Maurice only      Hesi , Geoff and PJ desparately putting the whole Kit and kaboodle, mortgages, loans , on Maurice to Win =  2-1 

 

The Market says Maurice to Win 🏆 , from Ian , Lightning Blue and Gee.

EXPERT SELECTION 's :  Looks like one classy runner getting in All the Form Preview above ?  Lightning Blue to Win , the rest battling for 2nd spot 😂😄😉🥂

So did I LB, through the back door as a sub. Much like LB in the Inter Final, except he won. 🤣

Grand Final Day Hesi.... Hope All the President's Men' are feeling great and limbered up for action.

With your fellow Ferdies Geoff and PJ  (1st and 3rd in the previous Super 7 Grand Final ) easing back to the Presidents Final today , they look a solid Quinella prospect. 

Sending 'Ferdie' Maurice up to battle it out in the BIG Super 7 Final this time round ?. Hope you getting him warmed up ok ? 

I suggest 20 squats, 20 push-ups, 20 Planks, 20 Pull-ups, 20 laps of the pool then 20k's on the bike .. good luck Moz !!
