ROUND 7 - Sat Oct 3

TC remains unbeaten and takes on an erratic Moose this week. Rex's reputation continues to grow as The Roughie King but takes on a formidable opponent in Jen this week so anything could happen. Three automatic Joker plays take place Saturday although I fear for Too Fast and The Reapers who face tricky opponents. Good luck everyone on what should be a great day's racing.

Robert definitely loves getting in first. Obviously a very busy man later in the week.

No Mardy, not busy at all. I have been caught a couple of times when trying to post on Saturdays, and my broadband went down.

When the fields come out, and after a quick browse, I always select what I assess as the two best horses in each race, and it is as simple as that for me. No study of barrier draws, because they are only at the start of the race, do not bother about projected track conditions, trainer or rider, because a good horse can overcome a lot of things that an average one can not. In general I will hold my own using this method in these competitions.

Oh, sometimes a little bit of knowledge from being at trackwork also assists me.

Wishing you good results for your selection this week Mardy.

Cheers.

Robert.
