Midweek 5 To Win - May Rnd 4 - Thu May 11 - Cairns

Recommended Posts

I'm going to be out for a while tomorrow so have switched from Wyong to Cairns which finishes later. Smallish fields but plenty of form.... Good luck - you'll need it.

Just select one horse per race to run a dividend-bearing placing. See original thread for rules. You MUST replace normal scratchings or your entry will be invalid. Anyone can join in

Gary was the January Champion, Rob our February Champ and Gordy the Top Dog for March and Hesi triumphed in April. Who will be the May Queen or King?

Looks like 3 in the first will knock most of the field out.🤞

Yes I thought it was very brave of those that followed my post to select #3, given that I am 0-6 for the first race since starting last month.
in fact I set a record yesterday of not getting any of my 5 selections in a place.
Even Madison Rose went from a game 3rd at Riccarton to a 46 length effort at Riverton in the space of a week.
Cairns will be interesting, they should put a croc or two behind my picks and give them some "incentive" to go faster!

Jammo's Jaw-droppers

2 Merry Old Soul (not to be on the disgraced fave #3)

2 Armour Force (may the force be with him)

4 Neveton (where the fu*k is Tolga ??)

3 Plagiarized (going for the hat-trick)

11 Cat In The Raine (what i will be if I beat Dad 😹)

you should already be in the catbox for swearing, Jammo LOL.
If you want to use colourful lingo, the preferred version on this forum is 'flock' and its various variants eg 'flocked' (as in 'I can't be..) and 'flocking' (as in 'can't be flocking bothered')

You're welcome.

MM

PS: Tolga is a thriving metropolis of about 3,000 people (and 30,000 snakes) in the Tablelands.

haha I looked at Neveton, when I saw that it was trained by Roy Chillemi.    His wonderful unbeaten Smart Missile gelding Missile Thunder should be hopefully resuming soon following his knee op.    Can't wait 🙂

What's the point in using flock when everyone knows you mean f**k?
