PWJ
The joy of another synthetic meeting gets us underway in August. The first looks a particularly tricky maiden and then it hardly improves after that. Our Finalists line-up is starting to fall into place - are you one of them or will you be joining them ? Good luck ! Just select one horse per race to run a dividend-bearing placing. See original thread for rules. You MUST replace normal scratchings or your entry will be invalid. Anyone can join in Gary was the January Champion, Rob our February Champ and Gordy the Top Dog for March and May while Hesi triumphed in April. Tassie Tiger qualified in May and Graeme was the King of June while Pete qualified in July. Who will be the August Queen or King? 1. Cambridge R1 - 12.32pm - Waipa Earthworks 1550 - $17k, 1550m, maiden 2. Cambridge R2 - 1.07pm - Cambridge Equine Hospital 1550 - $17k, 1550m, R65 BM 3. Maximus
9 hours ago, Maximus said: q q 6 1 6 MM Ok there may be a q or two coming up from PJ and others about Maxi's selections of 'q and q' in races 1 and 2. The rocket scientists among you will have already noticed that q is not a saddlecloth number in a horse race, (though it does look suspiciously like numero 9). The letter q is also velly velly close to numero uno on the q-werty keyboard. And poor Max was posting this set of inspired selections in the dark dark night cos he was too lazy to turn on ze light. So to eliminate doubt Max is reposting his selections as follows 1 1 6 4 - because #1 is scratched 6 1
