Three (3) selections per race. $10 each way bet on each while $1 box quinellas and $1 box trifetcas will feature combining all 3 selections. The person with the most winnings at the end of 7 races is the Round Winner. On the last day of the comp, the Round Winners will compete against each other in a big showdown Grand Final. If someone wins more than one round then the runner-up will qualify and so on. There will be a Presidents Final on the last day for those who fail to qualify. (see Round 1 post for full rules)

Qualifiers so far: Ray, Rex, Robert, Black Caviar

CHRISTMAS-NEW YEAR CUP

This is a little additional competition which starts today. There is absolutely NOTHING that you as a competitor have to do, in addition to your Lucky Seven selections. It works like this:

In the 30 minutes between the comp closing and the first comp race, each competitor will be drawn against another in a HTH encounter for the day. The competitor with the best score at the end of the day gets two points for a win, the loser gets nothing. Your aggregate score is also recorded. If you are eliminated during the day and your opponent isn't, they automatically win. If you are both eliminated no points are scored. If there is an odd number of competitors, the last person to post will have the break even of $552 as their opponent.

The competitor with the most points at the conclusion of the comp wins. In the event of a tie on points, aggregate will decide the winner.

So it's just a bit of fun giving you an actual opponent to compete with during the course of the day and a chance to win the Christmas-New Year Cup based on consistency and astute selection. Updates will NOT contain HTH progress but results will be published at the end of the day. Good luck !
