Races are:

1. Tauherenikau R4 - 3.44pm - Pukemanu Bar & Eatery - $18k, 1600m, R75 BM

2. Tauherenikau R5 - 4.22pm - TAB Saturday Racing Bonus Back - $18k, 2050m, R65 BM

3. Tauherenikau R6 - 4.58pm - Cotter & Stevens Maiden - $18k, 2050m, maiden

4. Taree R4 - 5.40pm - Club Harrington Maiden Hdcp - $27k, 1250m, maiden hdcp

5. Taree R5 - 6.15pm - Professionals Harrington Hdcp - $27k, 1250m, Class 1 hdcp

6. Taree R6 - 6.50pm - XXXX Gold Hdcp - $27k, 1600m, BM58 hdcp

7. Taree R7 - 7.30pm - Harrington Hotel Harrington Cup Hdcp - $30k, 1300m, BM66 hdcp

Three (3) selections per race. $10 each way bet on each while $1 box quinellas and $1 box trifetcas will feature combining all 3 selections. The person with the most winnings at the end of 7 races is the Round Winner. On the last day of the comp, the Round Winners will compete against each other in a big showdown Grand Final. If someone wins more than one round then the runner-up will qualify and so on. There will be a Presidents Final on the last day for those who fail to qualify. (see Round 1 post for full rules)

Qualifiers so far: Ray, Rex, Robert, Black Caviar, Lightning Blue, Ngakonui Grass, Gee, Ziggy, Maria, Anita, Rees, Ian

Taree Racecourse is one of New South Wales Most Picturesque Race Tracks and is perched adjacent to a forest just outside the city.

Racecourse Details:

The Taree Racecourse is 1530 metres in circumference with a straight length of 350 metres. The track is level with good runs to all turns. History shows that winners are usually placed at or near the lead on swinging for home.

The track base is covered with a matting of kikuyu making the track one of the best wet weather tracks in Country New South Wales. The shape of the course is triangular with tight turns.

Have been to Taree racecourse, and Ziggy has as well as we both lived there once. Andy , my son in law said it was a cracker of a course. Tauherenikau right on my back door, a beautiful location.
