Dr McElnay said more than 89,000 vaccinations were delivered yesterday. About 64,000 were first doses.

More than 70 percent of New Zealanders 12 or over are booked in for a vaccination or have had one dose.

Note that she doesn't mention the number or %age of Kiwis who are fully vaccinated. That'll be because the figure is an EMBARRASSMENT to this Govt's pathetic vaccination rollout.

Got my first jab at Wellsford this morning, nice drive, anything is better than West Auckland Was hoping to be able to drop in and see Pete, but did not anticipate we would be in lockdown 

A few observations

1.  Extremely well organized and pleasant people there.  Middle age nurse gave me the jab, asked me if I could expose myself(my arm).  Best offer I've had all year I said

2.  Drove back through Dome Valley, cheese cutter median barriers everywhere.  Couldn't help but draw the analogy of the lengths they have to go to, to save people from themselves, and the whole vaccination thing

3.  Didn't research out the vaccine beforehand.  I'm a trusting sort, and besides which, might have been then tempted to go nextdoor and have a slurp from their container of ivermectin

4.  Told I would probably get a dead arm from the vaccine.  I suppose that's better than a deadhead

Having looked at the facts, it appears she did nothing wrong - but her friend did by going for a swim, however brief, at Judges Bay. And Ms Wiles could and should have persuaded her friend not to be break L4 rules. "I'm not her mother," she's say in her own defence. Having read some of the bits around this table, I'm wondering why those against the vaccine would post it. To suggest NZ media would want to hide this information, I'd suggest these are the exact types of numbers Jacinda should be showing if she wants to promote vaccines. 

What those against the vaccine continually do is report total deaths, which is a meaningless number in the context of the vaccine - just as it was when nearly no one was vaccinated.

Across the under 80 age groups, the unvaccinated have a rate of deaths between 5 and 10 times higher than the fully vaccinated. That would be higher than I would have expected.
