Hesi
Always been a big fan of Spandau Ballet. Gary Kemp wrote all the songs, but Tony Hadley made them famous with his once in a lifetime voice. Through The Barricades my fave, full orchestra, superb

Maximus
Tis the morning after the win the night before ...and the Mustelid is still shaking his pretty little head (Mrs W's words, not mine) in disbelief. Just doesn't feel like a fair and just result when the entire match is decided on a countback with a nose separating 9th and 10th. Commiserations to Pete. Still, the Blues stay on top of the table after a 4pt haul, while we Kats go round in circles in the cellar, where Sharne is doing a great job as Wine Consumption and Control Ossifer and has plenty of company. Thanks for a great match Howie and Blues, remarkable tipping by Roland in particular and at least we can say we beat the comp leaders. (Truth to tell, captain Max dropped both Red Chois (for Sheezallmine) and Polzeath (for Paisley Park) from his picks just before posting. Foolish boy!) And well done, SNM taking care of it all for us on a busy day of racing on both sides of the Tasman. Catalyst v Alligator Blood was one for the ages and a rematch will be sensational. You are up against a match pairing that your skip picks. If your team aggregate beats 1 team, it's 1 point. If it beats both teams it's 2 points. And if your team team aggregate surpasses the profit margin it's another point. So 3 points can be had So best strategy is to go for the longer priced horses.......team strategy meeting Cheers

For best advice, do what the Blues do. We skype in on a Thursday evening for the team meeting. 1. ask Howie what he thinks. 2. go and make a cup of tea and watch some TV. 3. come back half an hour later when he is winding up. 4. tell him we all agree. 5. wait until Saturday and do our own things. Suggest you do the same Tom. 2
Sir Gallivant
Hi Tom …… Yes we have the bye ….. yes we have to select which op pairings we have to tackle and thanks to Hesi for most of his sage advice (up to the point (so best ) I will advise to ignore Maxi the Musty who is desparate or desperate to cause confusion amongst us ….. where have done very well with our own non interefering stratedgy. I certainly haven't forgotten it. Aggregates and records have certainly changed a bit since then 😊 good to know the Mustelid's gentle little barbs and incessant drivel aren't always just off the pace, VvD ... ... as we are often reminded, aggregates just don't matter and records are set to be broken. You HairyCanes are bound to be scheduling plenty of early nights followed by team conferences this week - having noted that the cellar-dwelling, wine-quaffing, fun-loving KKKs took down the Comp leaders last weekend. Only Roland's stellar performance (and a Joker play) saved 'em. (Well done, that man!) So be afraid, be very afraid ...and try to get some sleep before the big day. Hesi
Based on personalities, I'd have Virgil as Foreman and Maxi as Ali But that can't be right, Ali won, so back to the drawing board Hesi

What can a poor Mustelid do against the pre-post collaborations of all those starry HairyCanes ..it's enuf to drive a Mustelid underground.. but like Muhammed Ali he'll come out swinging, float like a butterfly, sting like a bee and mebbe try the Rope A Dope tactic...it's a great pity the victim isn't VvD his-self
