3. Taupo R8 - 4.37pm - Waikato Equine Veterinary Centre - $18k, 2000m, R65 BM

4. Doomben R6 - 6.12pm - Magic Millions Shoot Out - $125k, 2020m, qlty hdcp

5. Doomben R7 - 6.52pm - Magic Millions Vo Rogue Plate (Gr3) - $300k, 1350m, 3yos SWs

6. Doomben R8 - 7.32pm - Magic Millions Nudgee Stks (LR) - $200k, 1200m, fillies/mares SW+Ps

7. Doomben R9 - 8.12pm - Magic Millions The Buffering - $300k, 1350m, SW+Ps

 

Three (3) selections per race. $10 each way bet on each while $1 box quinellas and $1 box trifetcas will feature combining all 3 selections. The person with the most winnings at the end of 7 races is the Round Winner. On the last day of the comp, the Round Winners will compete against each other in a big showdown Grand Final. If someone wins more than one round then the runner-up will qualify and so on. There will be a Presidents Final on the last day for those who fail to qualify. (see Round 1 post for full rules)

Qualifiers so far: Ray, Rex, Robert, Black Caviar, Lightning Blue, Ngakonui Grass, Gee, Maria, Ziggy

Bit of an update on the PJ breeding front. My mare Party Jewel, a half-sister to Champion Sire Written Tycoon, has at last returned a positive test to Gr1 WFA winner and $5m earner Pierata. Here's the pedigree of the prospective foal and pics of the parents: Quite a contrast - a little chunky girl with a big arse and a big dark, muscular, handsome bloke with a strong Kiwi heritage (double of Zabeel) !

Fate has intervened and a fairly bad vertigo attack when I got up yesterday means Im home in Carterton still as still feeling the effects of the attack so thinking of others on the road probably unsafe to drive so far in a short time. Just have to watch the runners on the tele Provence today, soraya tomorrow and Bonny monday.

Was a big Pierata fan and thats a fine maternal listing. Good luck - should be a stunning foal. PJ.
